Is-f

Always been a fan of Lexus and it's smooth, comfortable drive. Combine that with 416hp V8 of the IS-F and I had to go to my local dealer for a test drive.

Took a silver/black one out for a spin. From the front the IS-F looks very aggressive which I really like. The rear and it's quad vertical exhausts still are growing on me, but looking at this vehicle up close I am liking the exterior more and more.

I was quite impressed by the interior. I absolutely loved the light carbon fiber trim. The driving cockpit was fantastic. It felt like a race driving enthusiast aware. The seat was snug, tight fit but extremely mobile and comfortable. The steering wheel and paddle shifters were located perfectly for my hands. And of course the user friendly easy to use center console touch screen/navigation is always a plus.

Driving was fun, fast, smooth and comfortable. The ultimate experience of course is using the paddle shifters. Shifting was smooth and extremely fast, down shifting was very aggressive in terms of it really used the brakes to slow the vehicle down a lot more than I expected, however, this could also be a positive in many cases. The exhaust screams to a beautiful sound. After 3600rpm the car FLIES!..and that is when you can really hear the scream of the exhaust. Leaving the vehicle in "D" is a nice, comfortable relaxing drive, typical of your everyday reliable Lexus.

Overall, I really enjoyed the IS-F. I could go on and on but I want to wrap this post up so you guys don't get too bored. It is definitely a car I am considering, however, I have yet to drive the M3 or C63..so we will see. Two thumbs up for the IS-F!

P.S. if i were to get this vehicle..it would be the Ultrasonic Blue Mica/Alpine White/Contrasting Black leather

I really like this car too, just wish it came in manual. Are there any plans on them putting a manual option out?

A local dealer had the neiman edition in the show room.

They are aggresive enough, but I have to say I am used to Lexus providing value over the Germans.

Lexus is great at providing more car for less.... who didn't get the memo on this thing?

I spec sheet looks crazy... but I really can't get over the fact that every IS I see around me is a 250 driven by ... eh I won't get into stereotypes.
