The GT-R badging was in effect since the '90s. I've seen Ford Mustangs with them back in the days!

I'm thinking of swapping the KA in my S14 for an RB20, or possibly an SR. Wish I had the budget for something more serious, but I'll be happy with ~300RWHP.

Well if you have the money for a RB26 you can probably afford to move the firewall back a little.

Lots of options with Silvias
CA18DET
KA24DE-T
SR20DET
RB20DET
RB25DET
RB26DETT
LT1
LS1 with Hinson subframe
7MGTE
1JZGTE
2JZGTE
Rotary if you're into rebuilds
etc etc etc...

Hell, I bet you could even cram VG30 in there.

Yup, and KA-T (although I hear that's more for drag racing...which I hate).

Yup, I know, just KA-T for short

The sound of the RB may sway me to go that route, although the SR is easier (plug and play). The RB doesn't need an aftermarket ECU for 350-450 HP tunes, and I believe the SR does.

All in good time. Planning on getting HSD/Stance Coilovers in the spring.

So far:

- HKS Hi-power Exhaust
- Megan RUCAs
- Aluminum Subframe Bushings
- Alpine Soundsystem, HIDs, Tints

Car came with Eibach lowering springs...struts are blown right now too.

Video of an S14 on the Nurburgring with the Coilovers I'm getting: Nissan 200sx S14 onboard Nordschleife on Vimeo

That's pretty bad.

There is an S430 driving around Memphis with S55 badges and those fake exhaust pipes. Anyone who knows what an S55 is will know what makes a real one.

There is also a B7 A4 (2005.5-2009) that has S4 badges on it. NO ONE know what an S4 is. Only car nuts know what it is and they will know the difference between an A4 and an S4.
