White GT-R using launch control

Using the AWD of the GT-R the launch control is done by turning off the traction control, setting the suspension to R mode, and setting the transmission to R mode. Left foot on the brake, right foot on the gas, the computer holds the engine at 4,500 RPMs, let go and you're off. Using this method 0-60 has been acheived from 3.2 - 3.3 seconds.

P.S. - the second launch sounds better than the first one.

drew935 is an unknown quantity at this point
the STI has that launch control as well. Revs to 5500, clutch in and in first gear, and have the accelerator fulled depressed and then let the clutch go and its off and running. Can't remember if the EVO has it as well.

Sweet.

Does the GTR start in 1st or 2nd gear for this launch? Does this change from the normal launch?
