I like it - if I had enough cashish to drop on a Veyron, I'd buy one of these. If I could only afford one $400K car, it'd have to be a CGT.
And thats the rub; and Toyota, er, Lexus knows it. Clients who are putting themselves on a short leash and dropping nearly half a million dollars most likely WONT want something like........this car.

They'll want somethign with a LOT more Prestige, Heritage and pure racing Blood flowing through it's chassis.

Granted, not EVERY client will want a Rosso Corsa Red Ferrari. But then telling someone, in a round 'about way that the car they see before them, to the tune of a nearly a half million quid- is a LEXUS- just doesn't have the same affect. Now does it?

I can't see any current Lexus drivers owning this car. Lexus has 2 kinds of customers:

A) old men who buy them for smooth, comfortable, boring ride

B) a few youngsters who buy ISs

neither of them are going to shell out almost 500k for this. so who is their target customer?

Yes and no. Speculation just means it's that's much more money they could be making that dealers/individuals are, and that does not make them particularly happy. Also part of the reason different mfgs have different rules for lemon law cars, and sales to the end user only, etc.

Speculation in THIS scenario b/c Lexus knows the only way to KEEP a LFA owner is to hog tie them to that car. Period.

Because...........ONCE buyers start taking delivery; and realize what they got (or NOT get) they'll start flipping and trading. And once that happens, value will drop faster then a volcano rock in your hand....

...and then orders will cease. THATS why lexus feels the need to LEASE only.

what a farking joke.

I agree 100%. I would never...NEVER... spend 400k on this car. When i finish college im going to be looking for a semi super car and im expecting to pick up an LFA for cheap (150k-200k) lol. There should be about 70% of them left over
