This sucks, but I saw this coming. I've been telling customers for a while that have been trying to sell their r34s/r33s that new owners would have problems titling them, as many state DMVs have been instructed to confiscate titles on these cars.

I can't tell you how many people have been trying to trade in their cars to me in the last few months on new GT-Rs....and I flat out refused, as I didn't want to get stuck with a potential issue when the Feds decided to crack down.....which it looks like they are doing now.

The party's over.....or at least the cops are trying to shut it down......unfortunately.

You know, we have illegal aliens coming in to our country everyday, along with millions of them living here.

This is not the kind of stepping up the immigration enforcement I had in mind.

Lame.

That's just their website name "2009 Nissan GT-R" which makes it confusing because it shows up before the name of each page.

So it's not the issue that they are RHD, but more of the enviroment?

Are RHD's techinically even allowed to be registered in the States?

yes they are.
US mail contractors even have RHD cars.

For the skyline, i think they dont meet crash tests and emissions requirements.
As far as i knew, the R33 was legal, i guess this is recent...

Ahhh okay. I always see LHD in the UK and in other RHD countries. Not so much vice versa.

The UK is more lax in that domain. Its only contribution to the modern world.

The verbage is correct. They would use that to cover there butt in case the car was modified to meet the correct smog laws. Sounds like they know it was brought in as parts and reassembled which is not really alllowed.
