New Honda S2K CR

Cars Gadgets: Car | Honda S2000 Car

One of the car I can say that is a collectors choice is the Honda S2000, not only because it's a tough roadster and has great aerodynamic design, well sure it doesn't look that great now because this design has already been standing ever since 1999, and to tell you the truth Honda S2000 still looks fairly good, good enough that they only maintained its design and the reason why Honda is so confident about this, is because they know that this car was well known as a "perfect roadster" in terms of looks and performance, so why change right.

But of course there's been a slight modification made for this 2009 Honda S2000 CR, as in "Club Racer" Honda made a special tweaks making this car become a true racing machine that won't back down in a competition, aside from making this car lighter Honda S2000 CR is also equipped with a firmer suspension and has a quicker steering ratios, they've also added a fully functional front and rear spoilers that is specially designed to get more grip on the roads.

Honda S2000 CR is a mid engine rear wheel drive designed car, that equips a 2.2 liter 4 cylinder 16 valve iVtec engine that produces a 237 hp @ 7800 rpm, and 157 lb ft @ 6800 rpm of torque and comes with a 6 speed manual transmission that enables this car to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in 6.2 seconds and reaches a top speed 150 mph, totally not a bad deal for a roadster, and by the way this is one of those cars that is made to be modified, and with right kind of modifications made, this car could be even more awesome.

The Honda S2000 CR version comes without stereo, air condition and top because this model is made for race, so they took away the unnecessary racing equipments that could cause a heavier weight for this car.

Price: $36,995

MAJOR yawn - they did exactly what they did with the NSX to it over the last 8 years or so - almost nothing (and i owned one).

Great cars but Honda could have done SO much more to keep people interested in the company. They really missed an opportunity to spruce up their image by not doing so IMO.
