Props to them. They are the world record holder GTR 1/4 (10.3 @ 129) car with a stock tranny (which everybody incliding them know is a serious weak spot on the car). They were testing the limits of the car and found them here. From what I know of that group of guys in FL, they were looking forward to this day so they can improve upon it an make it better. These guys will be in the 9's in a GTR before anybody else in 09.

You guys don't get it? The transmission was made weak on purpose so Nissan could actually make a profit on the car. Nobody would buy the car if it was listed for $100k, so they made the transmission worth $20k knowing it would break after a couple of LC Launches! A weak $20k transmission come on who else makes weak $20k transmission but Nissan? lol
