GT-R Market Update
I did a quick check on AutoTrader and found quite a few GT-Rs at sticker or close to it... That didn't take long. I bet a little haggling could get one under sticker in the current economy.

Depends on when it was purchased. Prior to a couple months ago, it was around $72K. Nissan added $7K to it for "cost of materials". I would pay around $80K at this point and not cry. It's too bad the whole transmission warranty thing/Nissan idiot dealer thing will keep me from buying one...

^^^ I'm wondering how much of an issue it really is? I mean I get you can't turn off the traction control but in the Clarkson "Thriller" DVD he does and the car is exactly the same... basically its the most pointless button ever fitted to a car...
Don't know why everyone cars so much about being able to shut something off that doesn't make a noticeable difference to the car???

Chris, IMO if you wait a few more months you'll get one at MSRP brand new off the lot no prob. They aren't as in high demand as people thought they'd be. I'm glad I unloaded mine when I did otherwise I'd probably would have ended up keeping it.

Do you think this will be true if you wanna order one to spec? I hope your right about getting it at MSRP. That car at MSRP is a great deal.

No need to order one to spec, there are hardly any options available. Either premium package or no premium package (bose sound, heated seats, etc). Floor mats, or no floor mats. Really it's just about the interior/exterior color and you can find them at dealerships unspoken for and someone's going to get desperate pretty soon. If you order a 2010 one it'll take a year to get it plus you'll have to pay the new MSRP price which is about 7k more. Agreed, if you can get one at $72,000 it is a bargain.
