And boy is it nasty (and not in a good way). What the F is Nissan doing? First the FX remake and then this:

Officially, official: Nissan drops 370Z ahead of LA Debut! - Autoblog

Looking pretty much like what everyone has been expecting for months now, the 2010 Nissan 370Z dropped this morning. The company hasn't released any details, although from the new nomenclature we can surmise that the sports car contains the new 3.7L V6 as used in the Infiniti G37. The new Z goes on sale early in 2009, and we'll see it live at the LA Auto Show in a few weeks.

The front end seems like it rinds kind of high, but it looks like they've incoporated some design cues from the original 240z. I like it.

Chris, you don't like the FX remake. I thought they nailed that one. Especially the FX50 with the 21" option wheels.

The fenders on the FX (and the 370Z) are cartoonish. They don't look homogenous with the design. I had an '08 FX45 and I loved it. The new ones are nasty (and those plasticky air ducts behind the front fender do it no favors). Really disappointing considering I think the G37 sedan and coupe look great...

It looks like they had a lot of sheet metal left over from the 350Z and decided to throw it on this car. Looks more like a facelift than a new model.

Oh NO ! I had such high hopes for this car.. Shame !
What is up with all those organic bubly curves inside and out ? If this "concept car lookalike" is the new trend for jap cars I'll pass...

I see GTR cues in the middle of the car specifically around the b pillar and roofline and hints of Z4 Coupe in the rear quarter. I'm not a fan at all.
