"Dealers drag racing new GT-R's @ Great Lakes Dragaway Took these photos at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, WI on Sunday. Some guys rolled in with these GT-R's with Dealer plates and decided to drag them over and over and over. Interested differences in trap speeds and 1/4 mile times though. Definately not pro's as they had to be reminded over and over to wear a helmet.
If I were you, I would not buy these. Wish I was able to get VIN #'s.

Damn that sucks. I've been hearing about a lot of GT-R customers complaining that they had more than the "break in" miles suggested by the factory. Sales people, managers, owners are definitely joy riding them before delivering the car, but taking it to a drag strip is just WRONG. When I picked mine up it only had 8 miles on it.
This is what happens when you give an $80,000 car to Nissan workers.

These stunts, along with the ridiculous sales "technique", furthered by the insidious ECU and data recorder, all add up to giant NO SALE from me for a GT-R. What a shame - I was one of the most ardent fans of this car for the past few years.

Salesman: "Let me show you the fastest GTR we have on the lot."
Customer: "What's with the white paint on the windows?"
Salesman: "We got back from the track late last night, didn't have time to clean the numbers off."
