The Rubin Group (Insurance) - New Sponsor

Hello TeamSpeed-

The Rubin Group (Insurance) is proud to be the newest sponsor of this great forum. My name is Michael Rubin and I share the same passion as all of you, our cars! I have decided to become a sponsor as I believe I can provide significant value to all of you.

Not all insurance is the same and there are many misconceptions when it comes to purchasing insurance, the coverage provided by various insurance companies, permitted drivers and of course claim handling/payment.

While we certainly understand and believe that your premiums must be competitive and reasonable, the price paid for insurance must relate to the coverage you are getting. What’s the point in paying for insurance when you are purchasing limited or no coverage for your specific needs?

I could certainly elaborate in much more detail, but I don’t want to put you to sleep on my first post as a new sponsor. I would like to point out a couple things:

• Insurance is a contract and not all are the same. Do you know what coverage you have?
• Do you have Agreed Value coverage? Or will your insurance company “value” your car at the time of loss including deductions for deprecation?
• Did you know that coverage is available for aftermarket modifications? (I.e. wheels, upgrades, performance modifications, etc.)
• Our carriers provide original equipment (OE) parts. Standard policies provide “like kind and quality”. Replacement parts are cheaper and inferior in quality and will affect a car’s long term performance and reliability.
• Are you allowed to use a repair facility of your choice? Standard insurance companies strongly suggest use of their own “network” repairs shops. If you go out of the network, you will likely be expected to pay extra costs (sounds like health insurance).
• What happens if you are involved in an accident away from home? Will your insurance company pay your hotel bill? Transportation? Rental car? Meals? Most standard insurance companies only pay $20 per day for 30 days on a reimbursement basis.
• If you damage a rental car, are you covered for loss of use of that rental vehicle while it is out of service? Are you covered worldwide? Probably not.
• If you suffer a partial loss, will your current insurance company replace affected/damaged tires, batteries and engine parts without depreciation charges? Most likely not.
• We can provide guaranteed repair or replacement.
• Last but not least, when it is necessary to file a claim, with The Rubin Group you speak directly with your insurance advocate who understands your policy and coverages and an adjuster will be assigned as soon as possible. Standard companies require you to call an 800# to begin the claim process and are not familiar with your policy.

We are licensed in almost every State and we take pride in only working with top rated insurance companies for your protection and benefit.

I would appreciate the opportunity to review your current insurance and make recommendations on how to improve your coverage and save you money.

Thank you.
