Why does that guy look way too big for that bike?

At any rate, I'm a big supporter of rollers. It trains you to really focus on your balance, and if you have a cadence meter, you can definitely spend time focusing on perfecting your cadence. My cousin uses rollers regularly and he is a big fan of the results. Much more stable on the bike, and a lot more confident with his riding. Plus his stamina got better too.

Let's see some pictures of the bike!

I still need to order tires.

That guy does look rather large for the bike, but what do I know..

The rollers are tempting, can't justify now when the weather is finally getting nice. I know whats on my shopping list come October though.

Not the best photos, courtesy of the iPhone.

First ride of my season and after the weight gain. Absolutely beautiful day, perfect weather, perfect conditions, nice little ride along the lake. Speed got tweaked by meeting my wife going to the park on the way back, but I'm still slow. Gotsta get faster, I'm supposed to do a roadie ride with a multi top 50 leadville finisher in AK in a month and a half. I know I'm gonna get dropped but I don't want to absolutely embarrass myself.

It's logyourride, they've got it for droid and iphone. Its always funny to me that I somehow end up higher after the ride, maybe I'm lighter?

I also felt horribly slow on mine as well. I am gonna be slow on flats because of no bigger gears, I'm ok with that. But SSers are supposed to go faster up hills, lol! I was having to grind it going from sammamish parkway up northrup. Then I turned up 8th, it got steeper and I had to walk a block.

Cool lugged carbon! Bet it rides like a dream, that one.

It's nice to have as a supplement to your summer riding. You'll see yourself increase SUPER fast with it just because it gives you the opportunity to focus on things other than just your endurance since you won't be leaving your living room or garage or whatever.

First mountain bike ride of the season! OMG, found this spot called Duthie. It's free. It's freeride. It's badass! I really couldn't believe how incredible this is. You could easily string together trails to make it a flowy XC ride with fairly easy climbing or you could do the features and have some fun. Or both!

Some of he pacNW guy gotta get out here with me. I suspect this is gonna be my go to spot for fun riding.

There is supposed to be a more climb/XC oriented area at Tiger Mt. as well, I might try that this week as well.

Just did my first ride on my new Madone 3.1. It's my first actual roadbike (have a Trek 7.3FX hybrid). I did 22.3 miles with an average of 14.5 mph. It's been probably 4 months at the very least since I've ridden a bicycle. I absolutely loved it although my ass is sore now.

Dropped my bike off at the shop today to get some cross levers installed and some new tape. Should have it back tomorrow. Got some basic toe clip pedals as well. Might go clip ins later... but not right now.
