Man was tonight a tough one. IDK if it was because I've had two days off or what. I feel destroyed. It's a great feeling.

Is it that feeling where you can't move another step? I know what you mean. Crossfit looks tough! Once I walked by an X-fit gym in my neighborhood, and everyone was constantly moving, and the leader (in army pants) was screaming in their faces. Props to you, nice work

- Question about X-fit, do you guys ever use free weights? Or is it all using the body?

It was that point where you just can't go anymore, but you need to so you force your way though it and basically stop feeling the pain and pound the last reps out.

Our box is like that, but it's usually everyone cheering on everyone else to keep going. That is probably one of the best things about crossfit, it kind of becomes a 'team' thing, rather than individual workout. If you cheat or quit people will let you have it, but if you push and do your best, everyone will support you. It helps a lot at the start.

Crossfit is body weight, free weight, bar weights, kettlebells, and anything else that the coaches can find.

Once I did Xfit every day all week sometimes up to twice a day. I'm a Xfit addict. They had to actually kick me out and tell me not to come back. I took a few days off (went skiing instead) and came back with renewed vigor and felt better than ever. I did today's WOD which was:

7 rounds of:

7 deadlifts (135 lbs)
7 L-shaped pull-ups. (lifting your legs horizontally while doing pull-ups)

In 5:07. Not bad. Most of the others did it in about 10-15 minutes. I was finished barely after I started.

I'm still on my spin bike intervals and KB kick. Still fun, but 35 lb KB is a bit too light for 2 hand work so I'm switching to a lot of one hand stuff. One hand clean to full lock overhead, 1 hand curls, etc...

Also, I'm a huge fan of brown rice. I've taken to throwing a beef or chicken bouillon cub in the rice cooker with 2 cups/rice. Yes that adds sodium, but it's ****in delicious so I don't care.

I do so love brown rice, Steve. I should start eating those again. Have you tried adding light chicken broth also? Delicious! There's a place in Bellevue , Malay Satay Hut that serves "chicken flavored rice"...my favorite!

Today I hit the gym with my trainer. Haven't worked with him in a while.
