Porsche's presence at the famous Circuit de la Sarthe dates back to the 1970s. The Group C Porsche 952 and 962 models dominated the grueling 24 Hours of Le Mans race in the 80s, but it was the Porsche 911 GT1 that rose to fame in the 90s when Mclaren was at the top of their game with the F1 GTR.
