She had a great time.
She was really nervous, didn't want to go but I made her. By the end she was running quicker then probably 70% of the other people there. The instructors were great, made her feel really comfortable. She admits she is a way better driver now. The next day she text messaged me, said "she just blew the doors of a Lexus RX330. (evil laugh)"
It was funny.
They don't wear out to & from the track.
With a short season, this car needs to be driven as much as possible...I love this car...I have some serious attachment to it. It really is a different car, very special. Not a garage queen though!

Funny you say that...she wants a Carrera S now.
Seriously, this dealer is first class. They deserve props for putting on such a great event.
There were 30 cars, 15 instructors. They did an intro/classroom night on Monday and the track was a full day on Wednesday. They start with the groups split A & B...one group learns lines on the south end of the track, the other does braking & slalom on the other end during the straights + the lines thru the corners. Then the instructors do 3 or 4 laps to show you what your car can handle...which most everyone comes out of white-knuckled.
Then they alternate A & B on the track in 20min sessions. The 1st in 140km/hr max (ya right), then we broke for lunch, then 170km/hr max, followed by 3 unlimited sessions. It's fun...hard to stay awake for the drive home. We arrived at 7:30am & left at about 4:30pm.
