looks amazing..

but i still prefer the looks of the 997 Cup

the wing looks kinda weird without the sides being attached to the decklid.

but who the hell cares about looks...its a CUP car and its faster, thats what matters.

I find Porsche`s black-white color scheme little anemic, so I`ve made wallpaper & avatar for members with adjusted colors! Hope you like it

great looking car from all angles except the rear, the way the line comes across the lights, the last 997 looked more smooth, the led lights blended more with the body work imo, the spoiler looks not at ease with the rest of the rear end,i'm sure from a performance point of you it will be awesome, like all new models it will grow on me and the old model will seem dated and out classed

I totally get what you're saying!

It's because of that 'line' that the Duck-tail seems forced. On the 997, it looked effortless and there is a certain flow to it. It looked smooth and that;s because it wasn't just 'plonked' on the retractable spoiler.

The 991 GT3 Cup's rear seems odd as well. Not because of the spoiler, that's fine IMO. It's missing those engine-lid louvres. I do like the ram-intake look though. Reminiscent of the RS 4.0

Does anyone know why the Cup is not fitted with PCCBs?

Because of the expense. Running ceramics is for Ferrari Challenge where you don't care about the consumables. Steel rotors on a Cup need changing after every couple events. Pads more often. Very few people could afford the ceramics and changing.

And even for the Ferrari Challenge cars, you can get kits that replaces the carbon fiber brakes for regular steel ones. Atleast for the 430 you can. The carbon setup is simply to expensive to use in racing for most people, since durability is no where near what you get from ceramics and carbons in normal street applications.
