First pictures of the new Porsche 911 GT3 RSR hit the web

Spies over at the Dutch magazine autoweek.nl, have caught Porsche's 991 based 911 GT3 RSR, putting down some hot-laps out on the test track. While most on the web reporting this spotting are calling it the 911 GT3 R, one of our more knowledgeable Porschephile members tell us this is in fact the GT3 RSR.
We can clearly make out from these pics the new racer has a completely new front and rear end design and features distinctive massive intakes in the hood. The ultra-wide rear hips and new style 991 tail-lamps, give the weekend warrior a similar look to the upcoming Porsche 918.
The all-new racer will be delivered to teams globally in 2013 and is expected to cost north of 500,000 euro. We expect the new version to shed a few pounds and receive a nice power boost from the out-going racer.

Hi Alex,
Yes, but as you say, without restrictor..so the race versions - compliant to the regulations make according to my info around 480..
The restrictions will be same for the 991 - engine wise it cannot gain anything..unless regulations are changed...
