I'm a GTR fan, but I think the Porsche could have been driven a bit better. The Porsche driver *looked* a bit sloppy.

Especially the last turn. As far as the outcome, it has 100 or so less horse power but weighs a bit less.

IMO this is an unfair comparison. Twin turbo vs. naturally aspirated. Big hp difference and engine behavior characteristics.
I would think the Porsche 997 TT would more apples to apples.
Regardless the GT3 was a performer and I would take it over the GT-R any day.
Also the GT-R to me is fugly. It looks like a brick.

While I completely understand everyone's preference for the P car, that's not the point of all these Nissan vs Porsche marketing schemes. The point is, a regular production road car can take out a honed in, specialized, race ready Porsche. That's the significance of these videos. Personally, I would take a Porsche for my OWN garage, but if I wanted the fastest track car, there is no reason, performance wise, to get the Porsche.
