I really didn't think Porsche would be able to make the 918 production version better looking than the CGT, but my God are they proving me wrong! Even as a mid development prototype this thing looks astonishing. The best looking new car in a long while. Too bad it has so much electric stuff inside of it, but 1. I'll never own or drive one so that doesn't matter, and 2. this is great +1 to Michael Mauer. I can't wait to see what the future holds.

And one more thing, not to dis the car, and I bet GT Cole will agree with me on this, but it really seems like Porsche is looking for more sales on this car, making an almost production ready looking mule run the 'ring in a Martini livery. Not that I have a problem with that.

What an impressive machine. The performance is going to be off the charts, BUT.....

Am I the only one that feels that it's a rather dull looking car? I don't know, I just can't explain it, but it just looks "blah"

*runs for cover*

Agreed. Front end is rather unremarkable...but the back end and those top mount exhaust exits...almost enough to bring a man to tears. Just awesome!

All the naysayers about this car are nuts - it's going to be incredible.
First of all, there is no need to get defensive (don't worry, no ones out to get your precious Porsche lol). Second of all, I highly doubt Porsche decided to randomly paint the logo of a corporation which sells alcohol on their TEST CAR out of the kindness of their own hearts. I don't care if its some kind of "traditonal livery" either. Which other company has done this recently? I can't think of any.

Not that it matters, the fact that we are arguing over something so benign is silly. I already stated I liked the car (despite not even liking Porsches) which saids a great deal about how great this car is going to be. Cheers.
