The new hard-core 911 filmed for the first time with little disguise
Our trusty Teamspeed spies delight us again today with a little video clip of the next-generation 911 GT3 testing out and about. We can see even more clearly now the typical GT3-style front bumper, staple centered twin exhaust pipes, and a new style rear wing which appears to be the same as the aero-kit rear spoiler option found in the standard 991 order-book. As we noted before we don't think this will be official rear wing set-up for the production version.
The new massive multi-spoke center-lock wheels come into play a little clearer in these images and the strip of camo tape on the top of the rear bumper we are convinced is hiding a symmetrical row of air-vents.
Power is expected to be around 450 horsepower and as mentioned earlier in the week, August Achleitner, the 911 project chief, confirmed that Porsche's motorsport division is currently testing both manual and PDK versions of the new GT3. We believe this test mule is a PDK fitted car.
Stay tuned for more news!

Sounds really quiet to be a GT3. I hope that's not characteristic of the 9A1 engine. They really need to knock it out of the park with this one, if they hope we diehards will look past the retirement of the Mezger block!

hey, dont laugh about it...the GTR is a seriously fast car...I wouldnt buy one...also because the interior looks too much plastic..but for its 1,6tons its remarkable.
Be assureed, the 991 GT3 will and must beat the GTR..in fact some of the 997 GT variants do this already..
