I doubt there will be a V8 also, but I think a Flat-8 is entirely possible. The 9A1 was built to be modular and can be built as a Flat-4 (upcoming Boxster/Cayman), Flat-6 as we have now, and Flat-8.

Maybe Porsche will just slap the new body panels on the RS 4.0 ...

One can only hope. They need to step correct on this one if they plan on keeping the diehards happy.
