Graham, good luck with the 2012 season and congrat's on the new toy.

My 2 cents for what it's worth:

1. Change out the side markers to clear
2. Remove the center stripe
3. Change the red font to black
4. Powder coat the wing struts and side wings from silver to black

Thank you! Come on out to a race or 2! That's exactly what I'm planning to do. I want to do that calipers in orange too, but stop tech may be making something for me so we will see!

The 4.0 looks great in orange!!
I would change the side decals as shown in the Photoshop rendering.
Keep the centre strip, I think it looks great on the car, but change the edges to black from red.
Silver callipers would look better than orange in my opinion.
Also the clear side lights we have in Europe do look better on the car.

Whatever you finally decide, it's one of the best PTS 4.0 congrats.
It makes my bog standard white car look very reserved

Congrats on the new car! If it were mine I would remove all decals + clear sidemarkers. I am a fan of "clean".

I'd do the same as in the picture like the GTCole edition except do the RS 4.0 decal and wheels in GT silver. Red must go on an orange car, no 3 color car, just orange and GT Silver.

Than again, if I could I would go 4.0, no matter how many decals it would have and it could be pink, purple decals with green whiskers and poop brown wheels.. :-)

 

My client with a Black 4.0 had Expel film installed up to edges of stripes (full hood style)Could hardly see the seam.

 

I like the GT Silver wheels idea
