Aside from the rapid depreciation of AMGs, the automatic transmission on the 63, and the relatively subtle look of the MB vs. the Porsche; go for the GT3 RS.

You will not find a more rewarding driving experience. Sure you sacrifice some creature comforts most people look for in a DD, but let's be real. The majority of this forum isn't exactly "most people". In my opinion, I would "deal with" the heavier clutch on the RS, and lack of "comfort seating" to experience it's visceral driving feel everyday.

That all being said, from a pure track day perspective, the Porsche will ALWAYS be the better candidate. More involving, in it's natural habitat, better experience, etc. etc.

I would suggest the following scenario:

Buy the RS. Hold on to it, and never let it go. (maybe a bit extreme, but once you drive it, you'll get why)
Then, in a couple years time, pick up a low mileage garage queen C63 BS. Problem solved. Although, by that time the new M3 (or M4?) will be out. Either way, you'll have an RS to drive around while you decide.

I have driven many cars, the 3RS was the most memorable and enjoyable test drives I have ever had. If I was not married, I would of bought it that moment.

Congrats, you move fast! So what is your impression between the two cars. Why do you think you made the right choice? I think you did.
