My father bought it for $400 in 1936, used it as a DD everyday until 1967, then restored and used as a showcar. I inherited it in 1995 after he passed away.

Whenever people come over, they walk right past both Porsches and go to the Model A. Most have never seen a car with a rumble seat (that my brothers and I rode in as a kid).

Sunny and 65 in Atl yesterday so got first real drive. About 100 mile trip to Lake Lanier, N Ga mtns and back. Feels faster due to power+gears+LWFW but improvement in handling (more stable thru fast corners with less rear "bump-steer") was biggest difference.

A few new photos too. Car got cleaned after this
