Cool the next time H20 asks for help changing his battery, I have DIY info! Last time his wife did it for him before I even got to his house. That was the TurboS tho, not as rough as a CGT!

Nice write up, love it when people work on their own super cars. Wish I had the talent or the balls to even work on my M5.

sweet, interesting that porsche didn't put a lithium ion one in to save weight. the old battery looks standard issue moll ones for all porsches

Right, the lithium ion battery was first offered on the 997 GT3RS gen II. I think Mercedes and BMW are switching the gel batteries as another solution.

Probably nothing wrong with switching to a Li battery...makes sense in terms of the overall concept of the CGT.

Thank you for the write up Jas! I love that you are so hands on with your own vehicles. I remembered when you gave the F40 a touch up with some of the electrical connectors a few years ago

Not to mention it is much smaller, so easier to get into position with the space constrictions

Very cool, never seen anyone post pictures of them doing their own maintenance on a supercar. Props!

Thanks for sharing Jas. Not everyday you see this hand-on approach on a CGT.
