GT3RS seat options?

I am looking at buying a set of used Recaro Pole Position seats for my 07 RS from a fellow PCA member.
Does anyone have any experience with these or similar seats?
These are lighter than the GT2 seats & less expensive however I'm on the fence.
Any other GT3/RS seat options?

Best seat to get is the So called " Carrera GT " recaro . These are actually fitted to those GT3's in EU and UK . More modern looking and fitting (and I think lighter ) than
the PP seat .
Should be easy to get too as they are still in use ( I have them in the 4.0 rs and carrera gt ).
here :

Wtdoom, these are the seat I'd love to get but they are $14,000! They weigh 23lbs while the Recaros are 15.4lbs + weight of rails & mounts, so probably around 20lbs max. The Recaros are $1150/ea.
You've got a 4.0....AWESOME! enjoy in good health

That is the new price. You can pick them up for significantly less.

Sorry Nan forgot to say the Pole Positions are a great seat , very comfortable once you are in them and give great support .
I have spent thousands of miles in them ( probably around 40 000 ).
regards wt

Are you planning to track the car a lot?
The only problem with the 'Carrera GT' seats is that tall drivers are gonna be very uncomfortable with HANS in those... Otherwise they're great

Thanks for the feedback guys.
I plan on tracking the car, but it will be mainly a sunny weekend car.
I'm gonna try out the Recaros

Hate to say this, but the recaros have no airbags. If your car is a street driver and you get into an accident and it is found out that you do not have appropriate airbags/restraints you will be liable for any insurance claims/suits. I know this is rare, but it is something to think about.

The OEM 997 GT2 Carbon fiber sport buckets would be the way to go in my opinion. $6K, but worth it if you are street driving as well. Just my opinion.

Kyrocks, thanks for the feedback, I'm going to check with my insurance agent & see what they have to say about it.
The Recaros Pole position seem to have a great reputation & there is many PCA guys who put in the 996GT3 seats; these too have no airbags.
