A Pair of GT3 powered cars get two differound sound systems @ Shark Werks

This lovely white/red themed 2010 GT3RS came in for a quick later afternoon bite in the form of our Shark Werks street exhaust for sound and our larger 88mm tips for a more aggressive look.

In the cage:

The factory titanium center exhaust and tips, although light is still 7-8 pounds heavier than the "fun" parts about to be installed:

Off comes the rear appron:

On goes our exhaust system:

Mounts to the factory locations:

That's better!

Now with our more aggressive tips installed:

Close-up:

And ready to go home:

And a video of what it sounds like on a 2011 3.8L GT3RS:

Next up this silver MK1 2007 997 GT3 came in for a major sound and weight reduction upgrade in the form of the Shark Werks Track exhaust system. Dropping some 56 pounds from the rear of the car and getting that cup car-like sound in the process....

In she comes:

Off comes the rear bumper cover to get access to the three mufflers:

You can really see where that extra 57 pounds comes from...

Off with the center:

And the two sides now as well:

All the way back to the cats:

Our 11 pound track exhaust (with two small race mufflers) on there fits up to the factory mounts:

Ceramic coated:

Ready for pick up and more to come:

Nice to see my 2007 GT3 featured. I cant say it enough, I love the track exhaust. For those that are curious how loud is loud, WOT you will scare people, but if you keep it between 2800-3200 RPMS, you can cruise around and easily have a conversation in the car or listen to the radio. Being this is not a daily driver for me, I like being able to get into the car and have that cup car sound, not to mention the weight reduction out back.

Here is a quick video I took to show cruising on the highway. Wanted to demonstrate how liveable the track exhaust is when you keep it between 2800-3200 rpms on the highway.
