Shocked the 458 didn't take the deal

+1. Test was a little off IMHO, because I figure the 458 is fastest, then the 4.0, then the ZR-1. And all GTR guys are still pissed.

 

Well, those are the lap time #. I guess the test driver is familiar with the track. Now, just to clarify: this is not the Magny Cours F1 track. It's the small Club track where the Porsche Driving School was before relocating to Le Mans this year ( Check it on Goggle Map: it's the one up corner left close to the kart track). As a reference to the published lap times Christophe Tinseau's (Head Coach of the PDS) lap time on a old manuel 996 Cup is 1' 15'' and on my first outing with my 3.8 RS I did 1' 24" last year -and I'm no good-. So? I guess we have to wait for some other test comparisons.

The ZR-1 wasn't a 2012. It didn't have the new Pilot Sports.

 

Do not underestimate the ZR1. My experience with it has impressed me.
As much as I hate GM (gov't motors) they did their homework with the ZR1.
