Porsche 911 GT3 R: Race car for customer sport now with even better driveability
#13
this is really something, problem with this car is that it doesnt belong to any racing series spec, so its for the guy who wants to turn up to the local track event with the bigest gun, i also dnt understand why this is a step down from the rsr when it has more power

Same feelingIf I worked my whole life to get this + a cheap DD, I'd be 100% satisfied! I think a used GT3RS will do the trick someday

There's just something about that giant sequential shifter that I have always loved. I know the paddles are faster, but too me it seems like a death sentence for the manual transmission GT3. The day a road going GT3 appears with a paddle shift box, I will cry.

^^ While I agree with you I like the sequential better, on a racetrack where all other cars use paddle sifters, a sequential is just a waste of time. Its all about going as fast as possible. And I bet the 991 GT3 will come with optional PDK. Once again not a bad thing, as it is a homologation car, and as long as a manual is offered, PDK isn't a problem.
