I was a big fan of the renderings that were floating around a few months back!

It seems to be similar to volkswagen's aim to take over much of the automotive world, the numbers are high but I'm not shocked to see them try to broaden their sales. I just hope the quality of the cars continues to stay high.

Love the idea for the car but 200000 units will kill the brand and no one will care about the forthcoming model.

It just goes to show how great of a manufacture Porsche is. Many of us begged that it doesn't have a typical boring V8, and they're potentially giving us a flat-8! Many of us begged that it isn't flappy paddle only, and they're potentially going to further develope the transmission used in the Carrera GT!

So excited for this car, its going to be astonishing.

So good in fact that I think this could be a worthy Carrera GT successor. We'll have to wait and see though.

A flat-8?! Sounds like an amazing engine. I'm really looking forward to hearing more about this model. Porsche should definitely try and build some 599 challenger

I agree with this. I'm not excited about those numbers. Porsche will no longer be a special brand if they pull this off.

People said the same about Porshe producing 100,000.

Think of it in this term; there's 200,000 cars a year for over 6 BILLION people on the planet.

I can vouche that when I moved to Ohio; that in todays world, 2011- there are people who didn't realize Porsche made an SUV.

This will not kill the brand ya silly rabbit.
