When I watched that clip last night, I realized that this is the first time Top Gear US has done something better than Top Gear UK. TG UK never reviewed the GT2RS and that's a big mistake on their part.

Agreed! I'm so surprised Top Gear UK didn't review it. Their Porsche reviews suck anyways, for a solid Porsche review I turn to Chris Harris.

Watching this right now on my DVR funny enough! These guys are coming into their own, the show is starting to work INMO and I love that Rutledge buys the fake ferrari for the 5k challenge lol!

One of my favorite reviews so far. Just racing through the streets of LA just makes it awesome. Thanks for sharing.

I was just going to post this. One of my favorite car review segments so far on TG USA. I love it when Tanner rolls into downtown and they shut down the streets for him....looks like so much fun.

Great review, especially for TG USA. The nova and the viper didn't stand a chance! They have the power, just couldn't put it down like the RS

I hated the earlier episodes because they were trying so hard to make it good like the U.K version, but now it seems they've stopped trying, and the show is slowly getting better and better!

One thing still remains though. Americans will never be as good as Brits when putting there emotions into words!

Quick Question: Do multiple GT2 RSs have the same Build Number? What I mean is: the car in the video here is No. 429/500. This just happens to be the SAME number as the GT2RS that Zwart drove up Pikes Peak, and is now on sale at Champion Porsche...

Champion Porsche | Dealer | Pompano Beach, Florida

At 1:35 of the Top Gear vid, you see the 429/500.

Same Car??? Makes sense...Porsche uses this one available for marketing/journalists...races it up a mountain...then sells it for more than initial value.
