just last week i had replaced a transmssion in a 2011 GT3 RS for a similar issue. very hard to engage first gear when coming to a stop. also it would fall out of third gear when letting off the throttle from time to time. After getting authorization from PCNA I ordered and replaced the tranny. Warranty.....17,500 in parts alone. I was surprised to find the RMS leaking( no visual signs before) when we removed the tranny.
Also we found massive amount of metal debris when removing the drain plug when prepping for shipment back.

My suggestion, bring your car in for a tranny flush with a warranty complaint of whats happening. I wouldnt be surprised if they find some chunky stuff.

Just my 2c.

Wow that sucks. Really surprising for Porsche as I would think this would have come up during testing.

Is this issue specific to the RS? Does it have a different transmission than the GT3? I haven't heard about this issue affecting regular GT3s.

I believe the RS has shorter gears than the GT3, but I think everything else is the same.

Just had the clutch bled by the dealer, and it did not fix anything. Has anyone else with the issue found what is causing this?
