A Piece of History | Pikes Peak Porsche GT2RS At Champion Porsche.
Well, they say being #1 has it's perks...and I'd generally tend to agree. So being #1 world's largest Porsche dealership year after year has definitely earned Champion Porsche some perks. Feast your eyes on the most recent "perk" to enter the Champion Porsche showroom.
You may recognize this red GT2RS which was recently piloted by Pikes Peak legend Jeff Zwart to a 2nd place finish in the time attach 2WD class during the 2011 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. In a collaboration with Porsche Motorsport, this GT2RS was basically driven right from Porsche to the hill climb, then race. Jeff also set a record for the fastest road car in history to compete in the event with a time of 11:07.869!!
Now, one lucky owner will have a chance to own this little read piece of history, just the way it ran the hill climb. From Pikes Peak to your garage or a track near you...definitely a nice perk I'd say.
