In the next Issue of Excellence magazine you will find at Laguna Seca, American Le Mans Series driver Johannes van Overbeek testing both the GT2 RS and the GT3 RS's on-track abilities. Excellence came away with some lap times that objectively demonstrate what an owner gets after he or she pays $110,000 for Porsche to strap a turbocharger and an extra 170 horsepower to the back of a GT3 RS. For the full scoop head over to Excellence here :

Johannes is just smooth as silk. Watching the videos with sound off is like watching a ballet. Good stuff and I see some places now to work on my line at LS.
Yes, good to see the cars worked out by a pro. By the vids, the 2RS is looking, what, 3 secs a lap faster?
While the 3RS indeed sounds great, the 2RS must be appreciated in person. It sounds awesome as well. AND a stock 2RS will NOT pass sound at LS. Ask me how I know So don't be deceived, a 2RS blowing past you at full-song sounds quite nice! (and NOT like a vacuum cleaner like a .1 911 Turbo does)
