Ok so are Mexico and Riviera the same color? Researching this forum it seems some people are saying that it is even the same paint code, but some people swear they are not the same. Can someone confirm or explain the difference in colors that has actually seen them?

They are not the same. Very close but not the same.

GYMGUY buy Arling's (20C4S) Riviera blue RS, in my oppinion an even nicer shade than mexico and his spec is AMAZING. And if I know Arling right it will be in perfect condition.

What is the actual difference in color? Which is the nicer color to those that have seen both in person?

Carrera S is Riviera, GT3 is mexico. Riviera has a touch of yellow in it which makes it more exotic imo.

Mexico is slightly lighter than Riviera, and more, er... pastel-ish. I tried googling a few comparison shots, but it's reeeeally difficult to judge either color off different photos shot with different cams under different lighting conditions etc.

That said, here's a Riviera 993

I'm a fan of Mex Blue, obviously, but both colors are great. Even in person, I can't always tell which is which, as it changes indoors / outdoors, sunlight / clouds, etc.
