In all seriousness, how my dealer explained it to me - was that I can't move my build slot down. Each slot has a date and can't be exchanged. I would have to give up my existing spot and risk not getting one if I want to wait for the later builds.
Whether this is true or not I can't verify as I don't have any contacts within Porsche.
