You are aware that in 2008 and 2009, a racing team using the GT3 RSR, swept the drivers, manufacturers, and team championships outright, and that the same team totally dominated the ALMS last year... In a GT3 RSR. How does that car "really need some furthur development"?

They won the manufacturers championship in the LMS and won the Drivers Championship in the ALMS. (They classified second to BMW in the manufacturers Championship in the ALMS). They also won Le Mans and the 24h of Spa.
The "problem" is that the 2011 version of the car does not seem to be on the pace of the BMW's and possibly the 458.
As for development - The 997 GT3 RSR is reaching the end of its life cycle , so there is not a lot of room for "development". Bring on the 991...or the 961 (if the rumors are true)
