Sorry for the delay in getting registered, thanks Driver007 for posting over my pictures. Glad you all enjoyed the pictures, it was very cool being able to take them and see/assist with this project. The details are in the little things as is so often the case, and this car is no different when it comes to that.

Edit: I took a few more/clearer pictures of the actual carbon fiber disc I will post up shortly.

Just out of sheer curiosity....Whats the cost of changing a CGT clutch? (Parts + Labor that is?) How long is the process?

You can get a real idea of how thick the entire clutch pack is here. That is my hand holding it.


You can really see how hot it got based on the varying color of the splined piece in this picture.

If you consider the car is $440K and the clutch job is $20K, that's 4.5% of the cost of the car. For a normal car ($50K) and a normal clutch job (say $2K incl. labor), that's about the same... It's all relative.

That car is so amazing not just because of the performance, but the insane engineering. Thank you for posting those pics.
