The 1st 2,250 in the GT2 RS!
I just finished the first 2,250 in my GT 2 RS. Intoxicating is a good word. There's alot to take in as the miles swirl in my head like those VTG'S in the back. I haven't tracked it, but it is already my favorite car that I have owned. From what I can tell, it handles every bit as good as my last car, which for the record was a Gen 2 RS, or any car that I have owned for that matter, and it goes...well you guys know how it goes. Granted it doesn't make the same music as that 3 RS, but it does have its own music and as far as I am concerned its pretty spectacular stuff.
What I've found out about this car that really blows my mind, is that you can drive it pretty much like a normally aspirated car. In fact, I believe you are most effective by just smoothly and expeditiously feeding in the revs right up the range rather than trying to get big turbo hits by mashing your foot.
I guess what I am saying is that throttle modulation is great in this car and that the turbos are staunch and yet have no lag. It's really straight forward; awesome brakes, a magnificent chassis, and an amazing motor with turbos that reward correct cornering efforts by being right there to dish out the exit speed. There is alot more I could say but for now, I need a rest.
