Never received the mentioned package. Therefore no linky
For what was supposed to be a fancy personalized delivery process...well...underwhelming so far.
The fabled 4.0L details were supposed to be released by now as well...nothing.

What are we going to do? You and I race each other around a track and need new tires before deal is up?

Here's the official PCNA Communication. This was sent out in late Nov. Nothing else since then. No idea why they picked Valentines Day. Like the wives aren't PO'd enough.
East Coast Event:
Dates: February 14 & 15, 2011
Event Venue: Palm Beach International Raceway (FL)
Hotel: The Breakers, Palm Beach, FL
For each of the events Day 1 will be a travel day with a welcome reception and dinner. Day 2 will start with breakfast and than be all about the car! We're bringing in a delivery team from Germany to do the vehicle walk-arounds, the Product Designer from Germany to talk/interact with the guests, Porsche Sport Driving School Instructors in a 3:1 ratio (3 guests: 1 PSDS instructor) and Porsche Racing Legends to give the fun rides! Porsche will be picking up event expenses (hotel, event program, dining), but it's highly recommended that you cover the customers travel expenses.
We're almost finished with a website that will allow guests to register for the event. In the website, we'll capture vehicle delivery information so that we'll be able to communicate this back to you/the dealer (does the customer want to take delivery of their vehicle from the event or at the dealership) along with secure other information as needed for the event. Please note that customers will not be able to choose their event venue ... this has been predetermined based on dealership/port information.
I think that if communicated properly...this could be something that really gets your customers excited...stay tuned for more details!

They don't have Valentine's Day in Stuttgart. Tell your wife that, along with the fact that it was a made up holiday. That should get the point across that the middle of February is a perfectly good time to pick up your brand new Porsche.

LOL. I've tried that for 20 plus years. Nothing really works except for jewelry and giving them your full attention. We all know that picking up a GT2 RS has to be WAY WAY better than sex.

Latest update:
Welcome package received in the mail a couple of days ago:
1) Letter inviting me to stay at the Breakers Resort with a guest for two nights Feb 13th and 14th. Take delivery of my car at Palm Beach International Raceway. Receive instruction from Porsche Pro drivers. Receive a "special" gift.
2) Special login info and code for an owners microsite
3) Hard bound GT2RS book
4) CF Plaque with GT2RS Logo mounted on a Tire Tread Base.
That's about it. Nice, but not quite the big splash I was expecting for a $265k car. Plus not being home for Valentine's day is going to cost me even more money. I wonder if Porsche will reimburse me for that?
