That must be the ugliest GT3 interior i've ever seen. Quite amazing how different our tastes can be.

Trying to show ALL the deviated stitching, and they STILL missed the steering wheel. Not feeling it myself, and usually I quite like the deviated stitching. Must the the gauges, stereo surround and vents.........

Yeah, I feel like there is a lot you can miss.

I got the VIN# of this vehicle, Am ordering the parts soon. Unfortunetly I have carbon shift and e-brake. If carbon was ordered, only stitching option is dark grey. I have to go with naked alcantara.

I wish porsche would have an option for deviating stitching that covers the whole interior at once.
Totally agree with u.

no they aren't in the options list. btw, for other 911 models, the option to stitch the leather steering wheel in dev color is visible. I couldn't see this option visible on the GT3 options list.

Unless it is different outside the US, I heard from multiple dealers and other sources that there was no option for stitching for the steering wheel, shifter, and handbrake. I asked the dealer multiple times and he said ordering it through Porsche wasn't possible (of course, it is possible he was lying or just didn't know, but to his knowledge he said it couldn't be done).

My guess is that photo shows a customer who had it done aftermarket, which a few places offer. I completely echo the sentiments everyone else said here that Porsche has a habit of making options so difficult to order that it makes it nearly impossible to order exactly what you want. A single checkbox (like Ferrari offers if the customer wants) would be most welcome for all stitching. Similar issue is I wanted carbon air conditioner surrounds, but Porsche said it is not possible without getting the carbon shift knob. Seriously, why the hell is that "not possible"? I also wanted the all flame retardant cloth sport seats with "RS 3.8" stitched in the headrest, but they said they couldn't produce this item with deviated stitching for some mysterious reason. I honestly can't figure out the motive because Porsche could stand to make a lot of money by honoring customer requests (maybe they were too busy working on the RS LE and not letting me know about it).

Weirdest part? The 996 GT3 RS featured alcantara steering wheels with red deviated stitching as standard.

I believe that our dealers make it difficult to custom because of the lack of knowledge. For god's sake he missed the home link option because it wasn't in the option list so he assumed it was standard. Although I told him specifically it's not. The car arrived without it. Whom to blame?!!

The pic I attached was sent by Porsche exclusive department themselves after my complaint. It's done by them. They even provided me with the VIN for that vehicle to order the two parts for my self and gave me the option code, description, etc. They told me to contact them for any options queries I have in the future. I have the info at my mailbox in my personal laptop. I will share the information once I get home..
