The waiting list over here is getting longer and longer, there are around 4 over here and they look like they are worth the premium over the 911 turbo's out there.
I wonder if the U.S cars can be equipped with the non optional catalytic converters deleted straight away from the factory like the R.O.W GT2's.

Yes, not only will an after market it make it look better it will make it sound much nicer and provide adequate gains as well.
