Buying a GT3 RS in Europe?

Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase an RS in Germany and driving it around for a bit then shipping it home to the states? Besides the speedometer being in KPH would there be any other major differences? Would i need to do anything in order to make it legal in the states?

Cars are much more expensive in Europe then in the USA, it would probably be cheaper to buy an RS here, ship it there and then ship it back...

If you are a US citizen you could do euro delivery(if they have allocation for an RS next spring)

Just do Euro Delivery - Dealer will handle transpo to the states, etc.

A euro delivery could be possible. A friend of mine from the states got his BMW 135 delevered in germany, drove it for a week and then it got shipped to the states.

It's true the euro cars are much faster than the us ones.

Base price GT3 RS in the US is converted to £84k compared with the £107k base price in the UK...

So it's never exactly going to be a cost effective move.

from what i understand it is not possible to get an RS with Euro delivery (not a 997 anyway) and assuming they do a 997 RS limited Edition i am sure it will be like the GT2 RS and not be allowed for a euro delivery. Basically i am going to be all over Europe next summer for 56 days so i figured it would be better to hold off on purchasing until then that way i could drive it through Europe!!!
