... and Porsche might decide to call it a "Hybrid." You know, for the marketing and stuff. Although they've got no idea when it will come out, but I'm guessing towards the very end of the 997's life...
How about pressure (regulations) to reduce their average emissions?
You think car manufacturers are investing all this because it makes "good" marketing?
Yeah thats why Bentley has a diesel.. because it will be good marketing...
No one has a good idea with regards to when Porsche will let this thing out because Porsche themselves are facing many issues with their "hybrid" racer and do not know when they will be happy with it being launched into the market... Look at how long they waited to introduce the PDK, the gearbox was with them for years
But I guess these are irrelevant details... oh but wait, look at what I get when I google "Teamspeed hybrid"?? I guess now why...
Anyways back to the topic
Great stuff porschecarreragtmay6... and an fyi this is not the 500hp thats the talk of the town as of late. So I guess we might be getting two new models

So I guess we might be getting two new models Jalopnik is never the site to trust for factual information. However, these renders are based off of the talk of the town. It was just a guess that it might be a hybrid. In my mind, the talk of the town is based off of what those old spyshots are. I don't think Porsche would replicate the bodywork onto a GT3 RS for publicity. I really think there is a production Porsche with KERS just around the corner. I also understand that Porsche has had PDK for 20+ years, but it didn't take that long to develop the modern day production version.

Most salesmen only know how to sell you the car, rarely do they know anything that is going on higher up.
Anywho, If or when they do come out with this GT3 blah blah whatever hybrid, will it be above or under this secret 500HP GT3?
