^^ hahhaha. Once I accidentally rolled an RS Spyder there, but it only rolled once. Only thing is it launched in the air and had no damage to the top side of the car. Try it.
honestly seems like their is something wrong with the design if a little air flow change causes such a flight. always sad to see 2 racecars die.
wondering the same thing.. or it's just one of those things that it happened at the right time at the wrong place. some things are just good left unexplained and let the community chime in their thoughts.
Not Mark Webber; he did a similar flip at LeMans (France) in a Mercedes.
This is the Porsche GT1 at Road Atlanta; I was in the Porsche tent having Alan McNish sign a poster when this happened..he was NOT happy.

I was there that day, as well; a little further away than the cameraman. I was 9 years old, but I remember it vividly. Yannick Dalmas was the driver. Since it was the inaugural Petit Le Mans, they probably didn't have their act together with everything, so they just left the bodywork in a heap at the side of the pit entrance. I have one of the mirrors at home.
