Hey folks as part of Evolution Motorsports' west-coast tour, Todd Zuccone will be in Northern California and at SharkWerks all week-long. If you haven't yet visited our new shop and wanted to say hi please feel free to drop by. Todd/we will be working on a few projects this week but if you're interested in the EVOMSit software, Todd will be here all week to answer/show/demonstrate his skills For those of you that do end up getting software whilst he's here I'm sure we might be able to twist his arm a bit

He's also brought a couple of toys with him in his trailer: the orange Gumpert Apollo and the EVOMS 1200HP 997 Twin Turbo. The cars will be here all week if you want to check them out

Also for this Saturday in the AM we're meeting up with some of the local crew thanks to Fred, ZKermit, and PetMako will all be meeting up at 10am at Sharkwerks.

We will leave no later then 10:30 to go checkout the NorCal/SoCal event taking place at the W Hotel

Is that the same Gumpert that has appeared in a few episodes of Entourage?

 

Must be, there's currently only one in the country as far as I can tell. This particular one has been traveling all over the country!

 

It appears there is more than one in the U.S. My friend sent me this pic back in April. This car is in NYC and has been there for a long time. Apologies for the sideways image, I don't know why it did that.

Could be the same one we saw. The guys from EVOMS told us that there was only one...and they did go to NYC too.

 

OUCH is all I can say to that!

 

Their summer tour didn't start in April though. Also, this car has a NYS license plate. I took a little closer look at the pics and noticed that the Evo car has an Evo windshield banner (obviously could be added at any time) and NACA ducts on top of the rear fenders. The car in my post does not have either. The NY car also has an inspection sticker on the lower corner of the windshield and a duct in the side sill that the Evo car does not have.

I don't know why they said there's only one in the country. Maybe the car in my post didn't enter the country legally, but I don't believe they are the same car.
