I was on flickr and found the original design plans for the 918 Spyder. I think it looks a lot better now, but you can still see all of the design cues that were carried over. Enjoy the pics.

It looks like Porsche will put a slightly viewable engine cover over the 918, but kept it solid for the concept car because they weren't ready to show off the chassis entirley. If you look closley at the chassis designs in the last picture, you can see the Carrera GT inspired shape of it, and you can also see the Carrera GT suspension.

It's still a concept right? I would like to see the glass engine hatch. Those air ram scoops are so ugly on the actual car.
