Slicks on a CGT

Anyone use STREET slicks on their CGT for non track use much and if so which ones would you recommend?

Im not due to swap tires but would put these on to try them out for a while.

to get true racing slicks to work on a road car, you'd have to tweak your camber a good bit. not worth it since it could impact road driving.
my recommendation, see if hoosier offers their R6 compound in the right sizes. i use that on my boxster race car and it dosnt require any change to camber. durable and you could, conceivably drive it onthe roads as well, though any wet and you have all kinds of issues espeically in that car.

simple response is NO. They have NO traction for 90 percent of the driving you do on the road, require as the poster above said a completely different, way more aggressive alignment, and arent actually that communicative until your at a level of driving that would be scarier than hearing that you have a bastard son in south america you never knew about right before your wedding...

Best "style" of tire would definitely be a cup sport or corsa style tire IMHO. Dunlop actually come to think of it now makes something that seems pretty interesting, but I would have to read up on it.
