GT2 RS looks a bit tacky with aftermarket looking parts. It'll be fast in acceleration but will definitely be slower in 1/4 mi, if that matters.
The GTO sounds so much better than the GT2 RS. It also look nicer.
Perhaps you should also consider the 458. I'd take that over GTO or RS.

I don't see the GT2RS as a 599GTO competitor. Price-wise, and in terms of intent, it's much more of a cross-shop with the 458 Italia. The V8 entry-level Ferrari has always been the one you'd take to the track, whereas the GT cars are more road-trip oriented. Now, the 599GTO is undoubtedly an absolute beast on the track, but it's bigger, heavier and more powerful than the 458, in the same way (at a lower level) that the M5 is the GT car, to the M3's track car, or the ZR-1 is to the Z06.
I'm just glad I live in a world where these cars exist. Don't know how much longer that will be true.
