Whats throwing you off is the roof is off. Rarely do you see a CGT when someone takes the roof off.

I remember a CGT for sale on Ebay awhile ago that had aftermarket rims with a polished lip, wouldn't surprise me if this was the same one.

I think so, it looks way too small in that space. CGT's are quite larger, much larger than a boxster. Also GT's have a bit of a flared fender this car seems to be missing

I don't even know why there is a discussion of this being fake. It is 100% real, but the center part of the OEM wheels is painted. This is in no way a Boxster. Check this replica out (the only CGT replicar on the market).
